Media Trend Analysis and Storytelling
I conducted research exploring trends in the media landscape and gained insights into the changing nature of search through interviews and first-hand accounts. I compiled my findings into a compelling presentation and crafted a case study on the effects for Horizon Media brands. I presented my research on how new uses of search are changing brand advertising in a visually interactive slide deck to Horizon Media executives. The project sharpened my skills in storytelling with research and communicating insights that add value to audiences.
TIAA Competitive Reporting
In my Horizon Media Internship, managing TIAA's marketing campaigns, I collaborated with my team to present a competitor report. I conducted research surrounding the retirement market and analyzed TIAA's main competitor's advertising. I utilized Vivvix to gain data and examples, which I then developed key insights from the media trends. I compiled my insights into a slide deck to present competitive analysis to TIAA clients. This report allowed me to develop skills in extracting meaningful marketing analysis to aid a brand's campaign strategy.
Badger Charity Challenge Social Media Campaign
I creatively engaged the UW-Madison community through NIL collaborations with 23 student-athletes, promoting charitable organizations. Through digital analytics, I optimized the social media engagement of student-athlete Instagram accounts to uplift their personal brands. I analyzed key engagement metrics of follows, likes, comments, and shares. Coordinating in-person appearances and creating content, I executed the Badger Charity Challenge marketing campaign to increase campus engagement, UW bookstore sales, and charities’ brand reach.
